Ibiza native Anna Tur, a DJ, producer, and broadcaster, was born on September 5, 1983. Her parents—both journalists and broadcasters—were Juan Tur and Maribel Torres. Considered to be Ibiza’s most internationally prominent natural artist (and who wouldn’t agree?),

Thanks to her family, Anna Tur has always been exposed to music. She attended the ESERP Barcelona University from 2005—2008, earning a bachelor’s degree in advertising and public relations.

In 2009, she earned a master’s in international marketing management and made her professional DJ debut at the legendary Space Ibiza.

She has performed in Ibiza’s most prestigious dance music clubs, including Pacha and Amnesia, during her more than two decades of experience and at some of the most prestigious festivals in the world, including Creamfields, Tomorrowland, Dreambeach and Delirium.

Carl Cox, Charlotte de Witte, Paco Osuna, and Luciano are just five of the many great DJs who have performed with her at events.

Anna Tur is a radio personality, DJ, and producer. She co-founded Ibiza Global Radio with her father in 2004; she served as General Director there for 16 years. The radio station is renowned for broadcasting the latest electronic music around the world.

In 2020, she decided to leave her job and apply for new professional challenges. She started Balearica Music as her latest business endeavor.

Radio need not be stuck in the past; it can embrace a new vision for how people consume and communicate with each other.

During the flu epidemic and club closure, Anna Tur continued to perform live broadcasts of her sessions from distinctive Ibizan settings—garnering more than 500,000 views. Additionally, she contributed music to the DAZN platform TV show “Club Ibiza.”

The British DJ and producer Carl Cox, one of the most well-known names in electronic music today, has been remixed by Anna Tur (BMG Rights Management).

Her original compositions have been published by renowned labels around the world, including Roush and Plastik Galaxy. Gonçalo and Hosse are her partners in LOWLITA Records—the trio recently launched their own recording venture.

In 2014, she came in second place in EMI Music Spain’s She Can DJ competition. The following year, she received the Best Female Artist of the Year award at Vicious Music Awards’ fifth iteration—and was ranked number 41 on DJane’s list of top female DJs worldwide afterward.
