Broadcast rights & social media distribution

The agreement is between the copyright owner (the LICENSOR) and ZILLION!FM (the LICENSEE), and it applies worldwide.

By submitting the music submission form at https://zillionfm.com/send-music/, the LICENSOR agrees to license his or her work under certain conditions for an indefinite period of time.

The LICENSOR grants the LICENSEE a non-exclusive license to use copyright material for radio broadcasts and online publishing/social media but does not grant any other rights.

Revenue

The LICENSEE is permitted to generate revenue through advertisements placed on YouTube and Google, radio ads, and Facebook.

Copyright Restriction

The LICENSEE may only use the WORK for broadcast and internet publication. The LICENSOR does not allow the LICENSEE to sell copies of the WORK.

Broadcast rights

The LICENSOR permits the LICENSEE to broadcast on a commercial radio station.

Social media distribution

The LICENSEE may not resell the copyrighted work, but he/she is allowed to publish links directly to online music stores in order to promote sales of the authored work. The Client authorizes the LICENSEE any form of publication (online and offline), including:

  • All Social Media

  • Rumble and other audio and video platforms

  • The official website, zillionfm.com

Waiver

The LICENSOR excludes the LICENSEE from liability for any copyright issues or claims of infringement. The agreement protects the LICENSEE by allowing it to dispute all such claims without fear of reprisal:

  • Copyright Claims/DMCA Complaints

  • Content ID claims/matches

  • Distribution Companies and Organizers

  • Licenses & Royalties

  • Multi-Channel Networks

  • Record Labels

  • And all rightfully parties of the authored work

Purpose

This agreement safeguards the LICENSEE from legal problems. Without such an arrangement, it would be impossible for them to complete their task.

The Agreement

  1. The LICENSOR retains ownership over the original work and does not lose copyright.

  2. The LICENSOR grants the LICENSEE the right to copyright in order to protect him or her from any future liability.

  3. The LICENSOR authorizes the LICENSEE to broadcast on a commercialized radio station and/or publish online.

  4. The LICENSEE is exempt from all claims and fees.

  5. The LICENSEE is not authorized to sell or resell the provided store link(s), but only may promote link(s) provided by the LICENSOR.
